Jigarthanda DoubleX (also known as Jigarthanda 2) is a 2023 Indian Tamil-language action comedy film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Kaarthekeyen, S. Kathiresan and Alankar Pandian under Stone Bench Films, Five Star Creations and Invenio Origin. The film is a spiritual successor to Jigarthanda (2014) and stars Raghava Lawrence and S. J. Suryah. Set in 1975, it revolves around a filmmaker and a gangster collaborating to make a Western film.

The movie set in period between year 1973 and 1975 begins with DSP Rathna Kumar who is camped at a village forest to nab a notorious elephant poacher named Shettani.The policemen torture local tribals to know about Shettani's whereabouts even though they themselves are victims of Shettani. Meanwhile, his elder brother Jeyakodi, a rising politician of ruling party and a movie star, is distressed that his movies are halted from screening by a notorious gangster named Alliyus Caeser in Madurai, who happens to be a close aide of Karmegam - Jeyakodi's fellow partymen who is challenging his ambitions to become CM. Jeyakodi asks his brother Rathna Kumar to kill Alliyus and other 3 gangsters who are supporting Karmegam's political ambitions so that he can make the latter less influential within the party. In another story, Kirubakar, a cowardly man, who is a newly recruited sub-inspector, gets falsely accused and jailed for a murder of 4 students at a college. Rathna Kumar, selects Kirubakar, along with 3 other ex-cop prisoners to kill the 4 gangster aides of Karmegam, seperately, with Kriubakar's target being Allius Caeser, with a promise that they will be acquitted and resumed to their duties if they succeed in their mission. Kirubakar accepts the assignment as he wants to marry his love and get back his job. Allius Ceaser advertises publicly in search for a movie director who can make a Pan India movie with him as lead and make him the first dark-complexioned Tamil movie star. Kirubakar assumes the alias of Ray Dasan, a student and assistant director of Satyajit Ray, and offers to make an Oscar-winning film based on Caesar's life as a gangster titled Pandyaa after knowing that he is an ardent fan of Clint Eastwood. Caesar agrees to Ray's plan and their attempt to make a film will take them on a life-changing journey and transform them into true artists capable of effecting social change.
